  • dbovine: But Ken's math makes more and more sense. so save .40 per litre x 98l = roughly $40, less $10 (rounded) for the bridge = $30 of savings per tank, means every 4th tank is basically free

  • kissrocksforever: I won't put the water they call gas over there in my car. I did a couple times, but going from 450km per tank with our stuff to 320km per tank with the American Stuff, I see no benefit..

  • KRS: I buy gas in both the US and Canada, I recently made a trip to London Ontario through the US, so I started each end of the trip with Canadian gas and then refilled in the US.  So my driving conditions, style, roads, speeds were very comparable on both fuels.  No appreciable difference in mpg, that's monitoring on the vehicles fuel economy monitor.

  • KRS: I actually expected it to be somewhat worse on the Michigan fuel due to the 10% ethanol, but I really didn't see much difference.

  • kissrocksforever: Hmm Weird. I wonder why I saw such a big difference with my car. I even staggered fill ups between our side and in MI and it was the same result both times.
